Weather stations

Photocatalytic process depends on weather conditions, specially sun radiation and atmospheric humidity. In order to  collect these data and be able to compare with the results of the degradation of pollution, two weather stations have been placed at the photocatalytic slabs.

The first weather station is located in IETcc – CSIC (Madrid).

The second one has been placed in IETcc – CSIC (Arganda del Rey).

They register:

  • Minimum air temperature
  • Average air temperature
  • Maximum air temperature
  • Relative humidity
  • Atmospheric precipitations
  • Solar irradiation
  • Minimum wind speed
  • Average wind speed
  • Maximum wind speed
  • Standard deviation of wind speed
  • Average wind direction
  • Standard deviation of wind direction
